There has been some notable regulatory changes over the years to address the persistent attendance challenges. It is an area that cannot be neglected, to give children and young people the best possible chance and improve outcomes. As someone responsible for attendance, you have implemented measures to meet the needs of pupils and reduce absenteeism. This course is designed to support you on this journey and to explore untapped or underemployed areas where you might optimise your efforts for maximum results.

Facilitator: Jean Watt, a former Deputy Headteacher, Headteacher HMI, and current director of school improvement and trustee of a Learning Trust.
